hey Val, you've got two really good choices here. The first is novice scout with either hunt 1 or explore 1. The second is a little less obvious and should only really be considered for pvp. Novice marksman with ranged support 1. This allows you two things. First, you can sell APP. Not that most of us care. Second, /aim works for all weapons, not just ranged ones. This is a huge help against someone with +125 melee defense.

With my Master Sword / Master Doc toon I went with the Terrain Negotiation in Scout. Nice to have, plus adds the ability to harvest if some nice meat/hide/bone comes along.

or aim as the battlestarts.
I boosted my warcry stats last night too. I bought 11 +1 attachments at 5k each and I have a +10 warcry pike. I also have warcry2. FYI, warcry doesn't do much in pvp now. Usually you'll have a cm on your team and the second he ticks for poison, you're opponent is beating on you again.

Exactly what I have done. The extra 18 SP, I applied to Novice Scout and Explore 1. It works out great. The nice thing about it is if doctors need to do a little surveying, they can drop scout and pick up artisan for the time being. It is nice to be able to switch back in forth between the two novice professions when you are limited to such few SP.

anothe plus to this is that you should always have enough scout and combat xp to pick up that extra skill as you go back and forth. I mean, c'mon, it only costs 100 cr to switch.

NEVER!!! Lol i put my points into 0010 Entertainer so that I can do my sexy dance in PvP lol. But in all reality Scout and Marksman are the only real ways to go.
