Thread: Master SwordsMan, Master Fencer, and TKM? any 1 try it ?
ive tried it, infact i still am. i have such a wide array of moves to execute in any given situation, i can switch between multiple dmg types and AP values as the situation deems fit, and changing stlye mid combat realy makes people get comfuzed and think of how to react. as all 3, deffenses vs everything are 60-95. melee deffense hits 156, ranged hits 129, KD hits 95, posture change down is 90, stun 65, blind 70, dizzy 60, and you even get intimidate deffense of +40. your protected all around quite well, and your pretty darned slippery. i mainly PvE, but when i do the same things i do in PvE in PvP, switching weapons, multiple moves, people dont know what i am and what will work best against me, its safe to say i win a melee duel 75% of the time. my only problem is fencer, but to beat them, ill eaither use heavy sword's mind hits or TKs combo 2, or counter with fencer scatter hit 2, or better yet, do it all. HAM cost is another thing, some weapons suck up health, some action, some mind, and with that said, with all the weapons at my disposal i can execute moves to keep my HAM bars leveled with a different weapon.
all in all, its great, i like it, ive got deffenses up the *** and win 75% of the time, or more. try it, you might like it too ![]()
However, the def stacks from Fencer and TKA are quite impressive, though how that holds up after Publish 7 is still to be determined.
My only problem with the all brawler template is the utter lack of ranged fighting. That might be why the Rifleman/TKM/Fencer combo is so used.
I personally think Swordsman/Carbineer/Fencer would be interesting. When carbineer gets fixed, the special moves will be workable and the combined Counterattack mod would be great.
i have toguht of doing some thing like that , but with tka ensted of fencer.
this is off topic but how do u people get these fanse Sigs with the glowing letters and color ?
Anyhow, the reason I stuck Fencer in there is because of its insane Def mods, which are higher than those given by TKM. TKM is a better offensive melee profession that Fencer, but you'll be using Swordsman for that anyway.
You can't master all three at the same time, its not possible with 250 skill points.
But if you just take up the fencer defense and two boxes of the TKA defense trees, you will hit the max of +125 Melee defense.
