Carbineer!
After Publish 7 Carbineer's specials will be fixed. You'll have stacked Counterattack and a good ranged profession to go with TKM/MHS.

My template isTKM / MHS / Smuggler 0440 / Novice Medic. I like it a lot; Feign Death is another life saver (along with Force of Will) in tight situations.

I'm going TKM/Swordsman/Master Brawler/Novice medic.
Strong defense and I can heal myself.

Where you are I would say get some medic so you can heal yourself.
Im Master Medic/brawler/heavy swordsman, thinking of dropping some of my medic and mastering either TKA or fencer.

Till recently i was going to go MHS/TKM, Fencer 4/0/0/0, and medic 2/2/1/0. I've since rethought that and really want some ranged attack in there as well.
So now i'm going MHS/MCarbineer, TKA 4/2/2/4. I think it allows for a lot more flexability with PvE and PvP.
