I sense that the swordsman community will soon be divided like the other communities where there are "veterans" and "newbies".
EDIT: I'm implying this is a bad thing.

Yup...a veteran who just recently discovered they could kd/dizzy someone by using the dizzy attacks in 2h hit 3 and area hit 3 along with lunge 1.
Sounds like a "veteran" master to me.

I was a master swordsman before the scythe, then I dropped it all to chase those little blue boxes, now I'm a master again.
Little blue box said "master musician" I said "not on your life nelly".
I'm just waiting for the best resources to spawn (still need Phrik aluminium) and I'll get a scythe made.

I was also MHS before scythe, but are u trying to say new swordsmen are only in it for the scythe?

I was MHS before scythe too. I have a sweet hammer [email protected] , but i also got 3 scythes and still have my schems! I love em, they look cool as hell, best lookin weapon in game besides the NS energy lances.

I'm working on MHS...but I never did it for the scythe. Out of everything I knew about HS before I picked it up...the scythe was the least motivating factor of all...and by least, I mean it was almost in the negatives, because I think the scythe looks lame. Let it be known...I went swordsman for the cleaver....

i think many of us know who was master before the scythe, and those that werent. and anyways i'm in swordsman because of the powerhammer, and thebattle axe we get. any other weapon we get kills my action faster than i can kill something with 5k ham.

I made Master for the Curved Sword, though I have switched to the Scythe since, because it's simply much more damaging and I needed that at the time.
I might look into some powerups to make my curved more useful and switch back to that one though. I just love the way it looks so much more.

Yeah, I am a veteran too. I took the profession to get the hammer, which is the BEST melee weapon (crafted) in this game. (Aside from the HORRIBLE accuracy).

I've been loving Swordsman from the moment I got it, months ago. =)
I don't think all that many people are switching because of the scythe though... at least not on my server. I bet more people are switching topistoleer for the geonosian sonic blasterthan are to swordsman for the scythe.
