Thread: What curved sword to look for?

Hey, I've been a Master Swordsman a bit now, but never really shopped around much for different swords. I've been using a curved sword up until 4334, then switched to a way too expensive Scythe for reasons I fail to grasp now that I have it.
I'm thinking I'm gonna play how I want and go back to using a curved sword, it looks just so much cooler.
So what do you folks reckon I need to look for in stats?
I've been using a 84-337 @ 2.5 (35% dmg slice from a 65-250) with HAM around 30-60-10 IIRC, 39% wound chance and +6 range mods.
How's it looking? Has anyone seen better unsliced then the one I originally had? Are there loot components I could look for to improve it? I've also got a rancor teeth sword, but it's not as good, 35-340 @ 2.8 with higher HAM, made with a 120 max dmg tooth and a 32% speed slice

My 100% damage 2h curved swords have 254 max damage and 2.4s delay. 
But that's with the crafting changes. I have pretty much perfect resources and could edge out 250 max by a bit before the change. By what I'm getting at 100% you're really not gonna get that much better with regular crafting.
If you're really set on a 2h curved you could get some good geo cubes and geo solidifying agent to put in a sword core and bump the damage by a bit or supposedly you can very rarely get very high damage Geo Sword core drops which can be used in swords. Rancor teeth tend to not be useful unless you get an exceptional/legendary drop. That's really all your options for a 2h curved -- well outside of hoping for a super rare exceptional/legendary sword core drop.

hehe, thanks. At least I know I already pretty much have as good as it usually gets. Have fun with my neighbours (live in the Netherlands)

I made one with an exceptional geo sword core drop and it turned out with a 30% damage slice to:
speed 2.7
dmg 82-337
wd 36%
HAM 30 63 35
speed 2.7
dmg 82-337
wd 36%
HAM 30 63 35

I only use my sword with the dot I got from imp retreat. I always use my legendary power hammer in PvP. Its a killa.
