PvE is a blast with Swordsman. I've never been a pure Carbineer, so I can't offer advice there.

Theres also an aweful lot of swordsman now too, at least on my server. I've been a Carbineer and now a Swordsman but not together I dropped Carbineer for Swordsman.

In my experience, regarding ham costs, I wouldn't play either without buffs, which then negate the ham costs. Both are ridiculous without. After a few specials, I was constantly healing.

But so far as pve, I love it, its much more fun than I had with carbineer.

I just recently left MBH for swords as well. I'm liking it a lot. I am master sword, master carb and am going for the Meditation line in TKA which I would strongly suggest as well.

if your doing mainly pve then i would go for rifleman instead of carbineer

I got sick of it, and i realized that it isint NEARLY worth the skill points needed. I dropped all my bh today

but now I am a carbineer without another profession to pursue. I want to do melee, but i am not sure. Carb/Pike both have REALLY high ham costs, so thats kinda redundant to have 2 of the highest ham draining professions. Caeb/Swrdsman - I am considering this. I do more pve than pvp so this might be my best bet. i just wanna solo kryats, ns, yadda yadda yadda all those really tough npcs. I dont wanna do TKA because it seems 80% of the population is TKA in some way or form. Any suggestiuons as how i should use my skill points would be apreciated. Thanks in advance!

hehe, I dropped BH three days ago (after wearing the BH tag for over a month), I'm swordsman 2/2/2/3 right now

I totally agree, BH is nerfed beyond belief, and its not even worth 92 skillpoints, let alone 217!!

My new template is Master Brawler/Master Swordsman/Master Riflemen ... and I think that left enough skillpoints for the mediationtree in TK ...

Swap out riflemen for carbineer and off you go

I dropped MBH for TKM and Master Carbineer, MBH was such a letdown. TKM and Carbineer was underwhelming. Got sick of hitting a successful KD/Dizzy and then being incapable of doing any real damage (mitigation, Armor, buffs). Picked up Master Sword(kept TKA 4404 and Master Carbineer) and finally started winning some fights. Dizzy/KD then Scalp slamming your prone, dizzy opponent is very effective. I Recently decided to give Rifleman a try for the double mind damage and gave up carbineer. Hating it so far, got killed in PVP for first time in a while tonight. Carbineer IMHO goes very well with Swordsman, but you must dabble in something else for more state defenses. TK, Pistoleer and Fencer are all good choices that can be debated. I went with TK for the meditate and kept the other branches for the defenses and the knockdown. If you are going to do alot of PVE though, Sword and Doc is the best. Master sword +Master Doc is a 1 man PVE Army.
