cob does absolutely nothing against ns protectors and elders

am i expecting too much from using it on very high level npc or is it broken

Don't really know how cob works on em, but all you gotta do is keep intimidate on her(preferably intimidate 2), wear good kinetic resist armor, get a full set of buffs(including mind), and you are good to go. PH against the elders, scythe against all others. When I have intimidate 2 on, I find I rarely have to heal myself. Nothing does much damage. I don't recommend trying to solo an elder though. I always bring friends for those. Not that it can't be done, just takes FOREVER and chews up your armor quick. Plus as stated over and over on this forum their loot drop rates suck. So, all in all solo'ing elders will lose you money with all the armor you'll have to replace.
