rancors probably, i managed to take some of them on while i wasnt buffed, your best bet though is to do imp missions until u can afford decent armour then go dant and take on quenkers.

Better yet, do SAVAGE quenkers. 4k xp per savage quenker, pay 6.8-7k, group, and get buffs. Oh, and you need mind food also. ( I use brandy, that muon downer kills me....)

Im currently swordsman 1111, and I just do piket plains mission. 9,5k credits, and almost 40k xp!

Just pull out your sword, stand in the middle of the lair, and use spinattack2..

goes fast... made 300k xp in about 1h30m

I am planning on going MBE and MCH, and will have about 50 points left (which will get me one line of an elite combat proffession). I am looking at swordsman, because I am a wookie, and I'm going to wear the full, savage-looking Wookie armor. I think the Swordsman weapons would look cool with that - and I want to be able to help my pets. The question is - Can I be decent PvE with only one line of swordsman, and if so - which line do you recommend and why?

LoL - not only did I not get an answer, but I got one starred besides. Have I broken an unspoken rule of your board, or is that just the way it is around here?

Basically, my friend, I've noticed that that is just the way it is around here... each of the three trees of swordsman( not combat exp) each has their own ups and downs... if you are looking for defense go for sword defense obviously if you are looking to actually fight then go for the techniques tree for the speed and the head hit 3, it owns... and then offense is basically your defenses for PvP( correct me if im wrong... im not in game right now). but yeah don't expect many decent replies on these threads. Although a few people do tend to be decent and will be polite... as always have fun and may the force be with you.
