Can composite armour reduce the damage from Nightsisters that use force powers on you?
If so what type of damage resistance reduces the damage?

NS are still very soloable for us (except Elders, we can't tank them like we used too) But i'm also Rifleman, so I can still own them.
you just need to whatch a few things...
1. The weapon they're using: If you see a Stun aton, RUN! If you see anything else, you're fine.
2. Don't bite off more that you can chew. You can't tank 6 spell weavers like you used too. The max I can take is 2 right now at the same time.
3. Use Intimidate and Warcry. Intimidate owns, warcry keeps them from using specials.
Force Powers are very weak. You need to watch out for Force KD though, especially if they dizzy you (and they will)
another little hint, don't wear a full suit of composite. Only wear the Helm, Chest, Gloves, and Boots.
btw, their bleeds are NASTY. It helps if you have Meditate, or some Medic to heal the bleeds. I had a bleed off a Protector that was ticking over 1k from all my HAM. It doesn't last long, but they are very nasty.

So i finally went out tonight to try my hand at the fixed nightsisters.
I killed rangers and stalkers fine, so moved up to a group of sentinels/spellweavers/protectors. 40-50% of them were carrying stun batons. I lasted through several of them, even took out a protector wielding a stun baton (had to burstrun once). I finally made the mistake of aggroing a sentinel, spellweaver and protector all at the same time with no burst run. The spellweaver had a stun baton and I went down really quick. Maybe I should get some medic or some terrain negotiation now

Unfortunately I ran up against an elder with a stun baton...it was a short battle.

Because, it's lower encumberence, and due to a bug, you only need to wear those four items to be fully protected.

Does tantel still have LS resist? Imperial Mk. 3 PSG's?
Initially these had some lightsaber resistance although it wasn't clear if this was intended. I found that these would protect against some but not all force powers. I believe that they defend against all direct damage force powers (such as force lightning) but not against debilitating effects such as weaken or choke.
It has been a while since I tested this though.

Hmm.. Me and my Swordsgirl/Doc friend took out 2 protectors and an Elder that were weilding Stun batons last night.. each of them were on their own so it was 2v1 each time, and we kept taunting to pull the damage from one of us to the other.. worked quite well - we survived all three of them
