stupid question but i'm argueing with my friend about better AOE special i think area3 is better is that true ???

can somebody answer our question ??

Area attack 3, has the possibility of Lower posture and dizzy whiles it is slower in speed and do the same damage as Area Attack 2

Spin Attack 2, is no more powerful than Area attack 2 or 3 and it dosent have the dizzy effect on top of it.

Dont believe me why dont you and your friend have a duel and use intimidate and area attack 3, you might even find your friend flat on his A$$ from dizziness.

There are more factors that need to be added in to determine which is best. What weapons are you using? What is your Speed? PvP or PvE?

If you are not speed capped, then spin 2 is better, because you will do the same damage with better speed. If you are speed capped, you may want to use area 3 for the dizzy and posture down. Another thing to consider is that if you do 2 posture down attacks in a row, it forces them back up. I have noticed that area 3 seems to be the most reliable posture down attack that we have, so you might want to use it as a posture down alone. If you are spamming area 3, don't expect to get many KD Dizzy out of it. You will dizzy them, but you will force a posture down, then next move force them back to standing, and they wont' get KD. One technique that is good against singles if you don't have Master Brawler for lunge 2 is use Hit 3 untill they are dizzy, then use area 3 once and lower the posture for the KD. I have found that area 3 lowers the posture much more often the lunge 1, but that might just be me.

well i'm using a scythe blade with 1,8s(speed slice)

i do dmg each second with any special so i think i''m capped (if im understanding the cap word)

and the argument is about pve cuz we dont like pvp

btw i would like to know something about skill tapes

what tapes should i buy or try to find and where should i put them and is there a possibility to retrive aa when the armor decays to 1/1

area attack3 is definately not for PvE, but you might want to consider trying area attack2 as well may sound strange but it has same damage rate as attack3 but with better speed.

Spin attack2 is better for PvE so i agree with the post above

I would use spin2 for pve and area3 for pvp.

The highest dps that I can get with 83 speed and a 1.8 spd scythe is with spin2. I can take out a janta mission in just under a minute. Attack the lair with spin2 until the npcs are all dead or running way then switch to 2h hit3 and finish it off. This is probably the biggest money maker in the game.
