I was hoping some of the more knowledgeable in Swordsman and game mechanics in general could give me a hand here. I have recently returned to the game, and am currently an MBH, and due to the recent publish have 81 skill points left. Master Scout was always required for MBH when I was playing before, but now with these skill poitns available...I have some decisions to make and I'm having a heck of a time with them.
So I have a few questions and was really hoping I could get some advice.
Right now...I'm hemming and hawing between a few different templates. My friend is a master doc so I never have need for medic skill as they are always with me. I don't do any Jedi-Hunting so I don't need to worry about that. I also know that I want to keep MBH in whatever template I decide. My friend and I always play together and its mostly PVE and I do a bit of friendly one-on-one PVP duels on the side. So my goal is to be able to pull alot of weight in PVE so that just the two of us can have some fun and get far.
I was looking at a few templates:
1)
MBH
Melee Classxxxx (Depends on the advice I get from you guys)
2)
MBH
Master Carbineer
Pistoleer 0030
3)
MBH
Carbineer 0424
Pistoleer 0040
Rifleman 0030
So my problem is I'm not sure what will be a 'better' template for my in game goals...to stick with all ranged professions...or....to dump the carbineer/pistoleer in favor of a melee class.
My first stop was to get some advice from the TKA guys....and they told me that it was the pikeman and swordsman that are the places to go. So I figured I'd see what you guys have to say about your profession.
If you do indeed think that I'd be better off going with Swordsman instead of carbineer/pistoleer, then I have52 skill points to spend (After I've already bought the required tree of brawler) and was wondering what the BESTSwordsman setup would be with those52 points...mainly for PVE and friendly one-on-one PVP Duels.
Any helpful thoughts, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
If your curious about my original question to the TKA guys...here is a link:

Since u have a healing body with u imothere is no need tostack some defense and go only for more offense...Sticking with MBH and havin not the points for mastering any melee prof i suggest u to go for more ranged....may have a look at MBH/Carbineer 4400/Pistoleer 0443...This leaves u with nearly no defense...u have only some ranged migration...BUT u are spd-capped with pistol and carbine + havin some good accuracy on it....i stongy recommand u posting in the BH-Forum cause they will have for sure some better tips for u as the swordsman-community can give u...

Thankyou kindly Naruk
Your advice is very much appreciated. Its a rough choice for me as I already have MBH + Carbineer 0303....so to go with the aforementioned MBH + Swordsman xxxx template would, of course, require giving up those carbineer skills I'd earned. However, my goals are to create a template that keeps MBH; is as good as I can get for PVE, dungeons, quests, missions...with the occassionaly PVP duel thrown in; don't do any jedi-hunting; and have a Master Doc/Master CH with me all the time. My friend and I always play together so medic skills are always there. So I'm looking for the best way to have a template that is complimentary to my friend. I actually checked on the BH forums first...but as you might imagine...everyone there is pretty wrapped up in Jedi-Hunting. Matter of fact, since I've returned to the game....seems like everyone I bump into now is either a Jedi or a Jedi-Hunter..heh!
Thanks again
Any other thoughts would be more than welcome
