Thread: A little help with a template

at the moment I'm currently looking at this template. Master swordsman - Master Fencer - Master Brawler - TKA 4001 - Pikeman 0040
The only thing I dont like about it is I lose the scout that I have had ever since I started the game about 3 months ago and I find terrain negotiation useful plus the abillity to harvest.
I could drop the pikeman for scout 1002 or drop TKA to 4000 and get Scout 3010.
The only reason I am looking at this template is for awesome PvE and PVP.... I just find it disheartening that all the melee profs seem to be better at pvp then most of the ranged ones(I have looked at master pistoleer/BH pistols/ smuggler Pistols for pvp too. if anyone as thoughts about that too let me know)
anyways, I just feel that in open area fights(theed space port area and what not) that other people will be able to get the jump on me. I want to do some more pvp for fun, but I'm afraid that I'll get owned half the time before I can even get to my target.
I donno I'm just looking at different ideas and things I could do, more so I'm kinda waiting for pub10 to work on the jedi trials. So I'm kinda looking for something that will help me do that as well.

Go for Master Brawler/Swords + Fencer 0440 + TKA 2304 + Scout 1000 and Novice Med...Gives u high damage and some good defense along withmediation(powerboost+cure bleeds/poison/disease)...terrain negotiation and the ability to heal yourself with stims "b" and woundpacks "a"....Worked great for me doing PvE and not so bad in PvP...

So you like ranged, and melee both. Well, I got a great temp for you, and you will be able to do ranged, and melee, while owning pvp, and pve. you will have to drop scout for this, however I'm sure you'll find the tradeoff well worthit. This is my current temp.
Master Rifleman
Master Swordsman
Pistoleer 0040
Pikeman 0020.
This temp will tank you out. it's meant as a pve / pvp temp. I use rifles for PVP, and swords for PVE.
