Thread: Whats going wrong?

Im a fairly new swordsman (working up the two handed tree at the moment) and seem limited to biting large amounts of dust because the weapon Im currently using (2 handed standard cleaver) is slow and does rubbish damage. Thats when I can hit the target 
Anotherproblem is a tiny Mind bar (Trandoshan brawler originally) , that Im hoping to get fixed with an Image desginer when I actually find one online 
My question is where are all the good weapons??? can someone post a wp for a decent weaponsmith (Sword/cleaver preferred) thats got good damage and good speed. Or advise on which other professions I could take up to give me a little more menace (currently brawler 2x4x Scout 4444, Swordsman xx1x)

Use a 2h curved sword until you get 0-0-0-3 in Swordsman. Then get the scythe and grind it all away. PH's too slow at leveling not to mention its in-accuracy.

As suggested grind with a 2h curved sword. Start shopping around for a speed sliced one, these can actually be obtained fairly cheap. As to your mind problem get some Vasarian (sp?) Brandy from a chef. Should be +400ish to all 3 mind pools for about 40 minutes and you can take 2 at once. In total for a sword and crate of brandy you are probably looking at about 140-170k depending on server and pricing and all. Best of luck!

Find a food vendor and buy citros snow cake. It works well even with power hammers when you hit novice. Wait what am I saying? It even works well with heavy axe at novice brawler!

Grab a speed sliced curved sword, grind with it until novice..then grab a speed sliced PH..and I don't care that people tell me its not as good, I think it is aTON better than the curved sword..
Anyway, use your speed sliced hammer to grind 1000 swords first, then 1200, then 1402 ( I'm not sure exactly how much combat xp you got there..), then grind 4403 ..at this point. you can keep using the hammer, or go buy a scythe for 500k-2mil creds. then grind to master...
Btw..hunt Huurton stalkers on dantooine or just in the wild on endor
now get out there and master!

I used a scythe as soon as I was able, to grind all the way to Master Swords and then some. Have lately switched to Power Hammer, and I love it. Much more reasonable mind costs than a scythe, wish I had used that instead of scythe to level up.
Couple of brandies and huurton stalkers will do the trick.

Dont forget the double drink brandys and the Canape.
Without these foods, you will die fighting a dewback.With them you will kill rancors....just not yet!
Also,IMHO, forget the scythe first route. Get speed sliced hammers and go speed till x/4/1/x then start on offense.
If you work out your damage per sec, your better off with a hammer about 3.9 speed or less than a 2.6 330 scythe. Unless you want to see millions of creds slip through your fingers. Scythes fall apart like cheese.
