Swordsman Archive

I just changed over to swordsman from commando, and this was a problem in beta but can anyone share with me their knowledge on the subject? I'm quite annoyed with pausing every 6 seconds as I try to run someone down. I don't care if I dodge the shot, I'd rather get hit and keep persuing my target because we can never catch anything and lunge seems to only have a 6m range now. Does anyone know if we're going to get any help at all with this?

this has killed me so many times its ridiclous..

Jawas aggro me and when theirs 7 of them and they keep shooting at differant rates i cant even move in for an attack and i end up dying...which is sad since jawas are light blue but unknowingly the computer AI is able to Pzown me because it freezes me :/

Ah yes, I have yet to run into the problem when 5 people are shooting at you and you stop every half second but ive seen it happen to my pet. He won't even approach because he's magically being bound by the forces that be that hate melee. If a person with a rifle can run in full force while being fired upon, melee should be able to run at LEAST as easy. Stop the stops.. for the love of god. This should have been a top 5 issue

I have had this same problem since day one. Usually when I'm trying to run away in Burst I still pause, I've also noticed now that If more then one thing is attacking me I can't attack my guy just stops and seems confused.

just equip a pistol when you run away or charge, its a bug that involves creatures changing states to you.

I.E. a pack of whomp rats go aggro on you, and start attacking, if you are out of range, they periodically re-aggro (i think) or if its not that, its a bug that involves you trying to swing at a target 40 M away.

Pistols arent affected by this to my knowledge, so just whip out that cdef and RUN!
