Thread: So what does and what doesn't stack?

Can anyone tell me what skill mods from melee professions do and do not stack, do melee and ranged defense stack? And what about ranged profesions, do their skill mods stack upon melee professions? I'd be thankfull if anyone could sipply me as much information as possible about this.

The funny thing about this issue is that no one really knows although it is pretty much forum policy that melee/ranged/counterattack/dodge/etc. cap at 125. Is this correct? I don't know and I don't believe anyone else does either. I've seen vague references to dev posts that I've never been able to find after searching the forums. Maybe/probably not looking in the right place, though. Anyone else know FOR SURE about this?

You'll also hear that dodge/counterattack/block only work while holding the respective weapon in your hand (1h weapon or pistol/carbine or 2h weapon/rifle or pike) but there are no actual posts which confirm or deny this.

So unfortunately there isn't a concrete answer - just a lot of people saying a lot of stuff. It's also worth mentioning that the accuracy on high-end mobs (krayt, elders, etc.) is ridiculously high and that even maxed out you are still going to get hit.

dodge, counterattack, block, melee/ranged defense are capped at +125



those are the ONLY mods that are capped
