What's your opinion about that ? Feel free to propose another prof if you think it's better for pve.
Having been a Master Swordsman/Master Rifleman/Master Brawler with Medic 1 0 0 0, I can tell you that the combination is great. What you cannot kill at range, you can generally kill up close. It allows you to attack mind at range, then when they close on you, you can continue to attack mind up close. Conversely, if you start out attacking mind up close, and they run, you can finish them off without being kited. For PvE, it rocks, and I found myself relying on Swordsman alot for PvE.
For PvP, I generally relied on Rifleman more, and because I got tired of getting poisoned and diseased, I chose to go Master Doc. However, I chose to keep Rifleman, which meant I dropped Swordsman/Brawler. But the priciple is the same. You can buff yourself anytime you want. You can heal states and diseases. You can help keep your companions alive, and when you can't, you can rez them.
So it truly is a matter of what you want to do. If you are doing primarily PvE, and you have ready access to buffs. Getting Novice Medic with Swordsman/Rifleman allows you to use Stim Bs, and they are adequate for most purposes. If you expect to use both Rifle and melee, the combination is great. On the other hand, if you do not expect to use Rifle much, you will have a lot going for you as a Doc, too. But that is something you will have to decide.
