I know swordsman can penetrate armor well, but is it the best for PVP? Or is another profession like fencer,TKA,Pikeman,etc.

How so, enlighten me? I've been debating whether to go master heavy sword of tkm for my bh template.

massive offensive damage, counterattacking jedi hits (thus, doing more damage) and also an attack that cannot be blocked and does mind damage which jedi will run out of force healing. simple as that

If you can get enuogh speed tapes, (+20) for a 5.9 hammer if not amster brawler.
and a decent Acklay Hammer w/ dmage slice (700-750 dmage no power up)
add on a power up and swing away.
think about it. AP2 weapon, swinging for roughly 1k damage per swing to the mind a second, low HAM cost....to bad it is rare to find a two handed weapon with any DOTs, much less a mind fire. and a good one at that.
Only thing that sucks is a slcied PSG can have like 40% or more blast dmage, and sliced armor can have 90% blast resist...w/ damge mit 3 against antoehr melee...you are looking at barely ANY damge....but I think everyone has taht problem 
also we get some decent defenses.....a non speed capped swordsman is not that great in PvP though, but a speed capped will rule all....to bad you are BH...doc helps outa lot also. but you should do well if you can get the speed tapes....remember only buy CAs.....you will go through armor to quickly, as Jedi with screw that up now ....BTW did I mention how sick looking it is when a speed capped swordsman is swinging so fast taht the animation resets about halfway through cuase they are doing another attack already?

i do alright with swordsman in pvp. overall unless u are capped with a good acklay hammer, u prob wanna use a good scythe.
personally i like my equipment, only thing im lacking now are accuracy tapes which would really help.
my stats are:
+21 speed(capped with 6 speed hammer)
+25 counterattack(i luv this)
+11 melee def
+10 ranged(rings)
+2 accuracy
810 hammer(93x with pu)

Speed capped swordsman is the best PVP profession in the game, hands down. Throw in master fencer, master brawler, and novice medic, and you are talking about one of the best PVP templates in the game today. BUT, you definitely need those speed tapes. Contrary to what someone else in this thread has advised, buy armor attachments, not clothing. Clothing decays, ubese shirts and mabari belts/bandoliers do not.

hey drgn you just nmow lsited my template minus the 4003 TK (which caps melee and ranged defense) and give me power boost and meditation to get rid of wounds and poison/disease
oh but I aint capped

ah thanks jess... haha forgot that part of my template as well. 4003 TK is a must as well. put that with the rest of the stuff, get speed capped, swing that 1k damage power hammer once per second with mind hits, and i don't care who they are (even jedi), they do not last long. i haven't lost a duel since i took this template over 2 months ago.

Yeah, I jsut need to speed cap, all I have is a +1 right now....need +14 more 
maybe an elder will be nice this week? Or my roomate gets lucky at the akkuan caves or somthing.

You need to stack Swordsman to be effective in PvP.
Master Brawler
Master Swordsman
4400 Fencer
I can stand my ground with the best of them, even with Wookiee Armor.
