This got locked on the general board for "ranting" so I figured I'd post it here.

First off, let me say this is not a melee vs. ranged rant, ora cry for nerf.I am currently a master heavy swordsman, and having been melee for a while, known a few master pikemen, a few master fencers, and several master TKA's, I have some perspective on things now (or at least I like to think so )

That said, let me begin the rant.Why are TKA's so superior in every way to ever melee class (please note I said superior, not overpowered) It would be nice if all the melee classes could compete on the same level, or at least reasonably close to it.TKA's get more defense, and more toughness than all of the other melee classes, as well as meditation to heal wounds, etc.The meditation doesn't bother me (after all they're monks) but the extra defense and toughness does.

That being said, I'd like to see other melee clases brought *close* to the same power, rather than *nerfing* TKA.All melee classes have a hell of a time, TKA included, so nerfing is *NOT* the answer to any melee problem.I think a good solution to all of the TKA superiority, not overpoweredness, would be to give the other melee classes a *little* extra defnese and toughness. The precision striking line alone has more melee and ranged defense than all of master heavy swordsman.

Again, I don't want this to be a cry for nerf, but rather a bringing up to speed of the other melee classes.
