Thread: For all the swordsmen that don't like the class, or are dissapointed in it.
I used to be 2h and was on my way to master, but I droped it in favor of a ranged class (picking the most broke one, carbineer lol) because mostly I want to PvP and melee just was not very fun.
If you want to be stoked on the image of 2h weither it is awesome or broken I have two words for you.

I agree with you on that Witter, I've always loved a swordsman and people want to pose as characters they see off of movies n such because it looks cool. I loved the idea of weilding a sword since I saw Jago from KI, Jubei from Ninja Scroll, and Mitsurugi from SC. I'd hate to see that happen too.

gah noooo! more posers wanting to change professions just because some badasssed film director makes it look cool. i was sick of ppl wanting to do polearm to be darth maul and i am gonna get really sick if i see tons of ppl flocking to swordsman because of a stinkin movie. Not meaning to start a flame session here, but you may wish to reconsider this. Unless you happened to grow up in a plastic bubble, the only difference between you and that "poser" is timing. He watched a movie a couple days ago and decided he wanted to play a swordsman. You probably watched a movie, read a book, or knew someone IRL and decided you wanted to play a swordsman. By your logic, that makes you a poser too. Ditto with the next poster after you, mentioning Ninja Scroll (cool flick, by the way), and me.
Also, unless you're a really generous guy, I'd bet you didn't pay for that guy's game and subscription. As a result, you have NO right whatsoever to tell him how to play his game. If he wants to play a swordsman, more power to him.
Cabot, if you EVER decide to make a swordsman on Corbantis, look me up. I'll help you out in any way I can.

people thatare arguing about posers, dont get intoit! its not worth the time.... many people have some sort of character that inspired them to make a fantasy/sci fi character, just because they felt like it. personally i chose to be a swordsman because i like being a melee class in almost any game i play, its just a preference.
the onlything i find dissapointing with this class is the lack ofweapons, i would say give us a selection of weapons to choose from that balance out, like a sword (maby a flamberge of sorts?), agreataxe, the powerhammer of course, and maby other things, like a flail, or a morning star of sorts?
of course the things like the suggestions of a greataxe, or a flamberge, and the flail and morning star would have to be given the star wars sci fi look.

He aint lyin, I think it's alot easier to hit someone with a sword than a gun. A little bullet/laser compared to asword/hammer...
