Thread: Don't know where to spend my XP

I'm currently a 0/0/2/0 swordsman. I have enough XP to get Expert Sword Defense, but I don't know if I should spend in the other 2 branches (I have enough XP to get the first 2 blocks). I'm a rifleman/Swordsman and I tend to use my swordsman skills when critters get close when I have my rifle. Any sugesstions?

Try to get at least up to 0420 then, that 4 part of the tree determines your 2 handed speed, and you get 65+ I believe with 0400. Use a 2.0 speed curved sword with that mod skill, you're gonna hit like every second

go 4400 as soon as you can, You get speed and area attacks which are very nice.

A high defence isn't necessary whilst you're levelling up - you probably won't find yourself able to kill the higher level creatures that you need mitigation for, so concentrate on speed and offence, get techniques first then go for the area hits.
Focus on whacking Pikets on Dantooine, with buffs and BE Brandy you can take them without armour, group with a non-CH pet or droid and leave it in town for a 20-25% xp boost and you'll be getting 3.5-4k 2h xp per piket, you can master it in no time, plus make plenty of cash (9k per mission) and if you have scout they drop herbivore meat which might be useful for any docs you know.
