Everyone on these boards wants to change this, improve that, extra weapons and so on.

Becuase of our very straight forward philosophy, I have a weapon and a special for just about every situation.

One on One: Mind and Head shots. No messing, just outright "multiplier of four" ham specific damage to the nearly unbuffable stat.

Duels: use your Barbing Katana of Precision, becuase players are harder to hit. Unless its a Bounty Hunter, in which case you don't need accuracy.

Group fight: Area Attacks. No messing, just outright "multiplier of four" damage to anyone who comes close, with a little chance to dizzy (follow with aHAMfriendly Sweep2).

If your opponent wears 80% Composite (leaving you with no damage type to attack with) you wear 80% Composite, and don't forget the Imperial PSGs, they are 50% resistant to everything but Kinetic. Most stun weapons do absoloutley nothing against that. You could even put a Stun Resistant Plate into the Composite Armour. Then even Stun Batons are usless. Use your fastest weapon, becuase you can always wait for a critical hit (armour hole) to happen. Then perhaps you and your opponent (in a Duel of course) could agree to fight like real warriors, not like tin-can-men.

As far as the GCW goes, we arepoint blankcommandos. I don't think I have ever missed against a Turret, and my Power Hammer is Speed Sliced. I mean talk about having your path laid out for you...

TKAs getting you "down"? Dizzy resistant food. Mind Bleed should be your first hit, then they will knock you down.Although you do get knocked down, it gives them enough time to start mashing the UAHIT3. When you get up they may have qued twenty of those hits, and then you could Initmidate to half their damage output (becuase until they clear that que, thats all they aredoing, and they have to get throughall of your pools)I prefer to quicklystart usingHead Shot until it comes off and bounces on the floor. What are they going to do? Clear their que then use Blind and Stun? Takes too long. We can hit the speed cap with our Katanas, and they don't miss.

We need a couple of things fixing. Counter is a good one. Knock Down / Posture Change stacking is a more general one. Descriptions need redoing on a grand scale. Sweep2 is sooo out of place, but it does have (a very limited) use. Different damage types would be mildly interesting, (crossbetween a Claymore and a Branding Iron) but you'd soon want more. We certainly don't need Dual Weild (how the hell do we Dual Weild a Two Handed Weapon?). But we don't need to change our proffession. I like being a Swordsman, I'm thinking of totally devoting my character to it, becuaseI'm having loads of fun. I can't seea reason to open upmy first Holocron.

Take the blue pill,Ô
Play SWG, never dual-wield your pistols and believe whatever you want to believe.

Play MxO, and I will show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

SWG was never the game I wanted it to be, even before the NGE. All the NGE did is take away what gameplay SWG actually did have.

My only problem is that this is supposed to be the highest damaging melee profession. They need to give us AP 3 weapons for this. The bleeds were nerfed so much, I dont even use them. They are nerfing mind damage classes so that mind damage is healable. They definetely need to add AP3 weapons to make up for this.

I haven't been a MHS for long, but ever since I hit novice I've loved it. I started to holo grind, got through my first (armorsmith), opened my second and got CH, which I didn't particularly feel like doing, but I was going to anyway...until I was stupid and accidentally used a third holo just to remind myself CH was indeed my second profession. So I gave up on holo chasing and just went for the character I wanted, Master Sword/Master Doc, and now that I've mastered both, I think it's great. I have yet to try all the high level PvE stuff, really, and I don't really PvP (although the recent player organized event on Tarq was super fun), but it's still a blast. If I end up changing anything, it will be to drop doc, I doubt I'll ever drop sword. I'd like to be able to get master brawler for the knock down, and the meditation tree of TK, but I like doc too much to do that right now Anyway, swordsman is the most fun combat profession in my opinion, and as far as I can tell, a lot of other swordsmen feel the same. I hope so at least

Highest Damaging Melee? You have to think about what you type bub. We have theonly 4xDamage AoE in the game,we can take out entire lairs, leaving the Fencers and TKA'sfightingone mobat a time. Seriously, you want an AP3 weapon? Look at how slow and inaccurate the Power Hammer is, its a risky PvP weapon and I have only ever seen one person take it on a Dath Hunt. Honestly, can you imagine the drawbacks of having an AP3 weapon? On top of that, whats the point? What are you intending to use an AP3 weapon against? Mobs that shouldn't be soloable? Oragainst smaller mobsfor a huge extra 25% more damage thanmy very fast, very accurateKatana? I'd rather knock them down and get an extra 50% on top of my 2hH3. Can't pull that off with a slow weapon.

Bleeds are nerfed? Everybody's bleeds are nerfed. Ours are no better or worse. Did we survive on bleeds more than some other class?

Mind Damage is going to be nerfed? HAM is going to be rebalanced, nobody is nerfing anything there. Mind you, with your Counter Stacking Template, balance prbbly does look a lot likea nerf from your screen. Personally I always thought that Health bleeds were better in PvE anyway. They stack with the most likley type of damage that your Counter, Dizzyand Posture/Knockdown will be doing, or do your fights never get thattechnical?

Ap0 runs into problems, Ap1 is acceptable, but Ap2 gets you through just about anything. GCW vs Imps? Commandos and Swordsmen are the only people with access to Blast damage. That rocks. Highest damage melee... What other melee eats through base defences and AT-STs that quick?

You are entitled to your opinion, but "They need to give us AP 3 weapons" just shows a lack of thought.
