1. Curious as to the order in which I should gain the boxes. I'm guessing that the speed mods would be a good start. But is there some devastating move I need to go after? Is it better to pick up accuracy or defense first?
2. How do you get the center of being to work properly? Do you just activate it and leave it, as you would for Mask Scent?
3. And what are the best things to level? I've been getting a lot out of Shauput Hunters, but I think I need to move on to NPCs. Who and whatare good for low level swordsmen?
4. Finally, is terrain negotiation critical for swordsman? I'm guessing it is, to avoid kiting, but can you simply use burstrun most of the time to be effective?
Thanks

Techniques is really useful, but some people will suggest getting defence I first to give yourself a little mitigation and spin attack II, then go up techniques.
For levelling, I'd get Tech I, Def I, then the rest of Techniques, then get Offence for the area attacks and the state bonuses at offence III, then finish up with Defence - the Finesse (accuracy) line is combat XP, not 2h xp so that goes up on it's own as you level.
Center of being starts and stops on a timer, when it's active you're harder to hit (or in our case, more likely to counterattack), press it again when you see the "your thoughts drift away from self preservation" message (or put it in a macro loop, there's a few of those kicking around here on the forum).
Try Bols and then pikets on Dantooine, but you'll need a decent buff first, not sure if you need armour at novice, I know I don't need it at Master, but you might get mauled at lower levels, stick to your curved sword until you have at least a few techniques boxes unless you can get a speedy power hammer.
Terrain negotiation for all melee types is non-optional in PvP, but I keep forgetting to get it back as I spend most of my time fighting PvE - you don't need it for creatures, but for NPCs it's a must.
