I used mt first Holo last night...Swordsman.

I was very happy as I wanted to change my profession anyhow andhad made a character (deleted him) that was going to be a swordsman onanother server some time back, but had no time to playmore than one character.

I was hoping for a good profession and when I saw "...Master Swordsman"... YES!!!

So, just looking for advice from others. Egnar on Tarquinas said to get Tech Tree first which I think is a great idea.

Any other advice?

Thanks.

Definatly right to get the tech tree first... then I think its best to just kind of go up evenly or to get offence first... the area attack 3 (the non posture down one) does tons of damage with a powerhammer.

oh other advice... PvE vs MOBS are better xp and easier to handle than PvE vs NPCS...

Get some armor, and be prepaired to watch it decay like no ones buisiness. (chest plate at least)

Cool. Now if only Wookiee's had some sort of armor to stop the melee blows.

I swear, wookies are pidgeon holed into being Rifleman, CHs, and Medic.

Anyways, as a wookiee I love being a swordsman. I can't take hits like other swordsman, but I can use specials like crazy because of my extra HAM.

Same here Can...Wookie Swordsman. Between intimidate and center, I don't go down easy. Then if my roommate master doctor hooks me up before we go rebel smishing...hehe..poor poor commando. "wha? he didn't drop in one...oh..no..thats a big big hammer coming straight at my head..." *enter diabolical laugh here*

Another thing, wookies have figured out how to build and maintain cities high into the trees, but they can't craft armor for themselves. Did they kinda skip a step in the engineering progression?

Actually, I've noticed that the gloves decay faster, way faster than any other armor piece. Leggings, boots, and the chest plate are a distant 2nd, 3rd and 4th. So, if you have to sacrifice some armor due to encumbrance, always wear the gloves.
