I'm Master Doc, just hit Novice Heavy Swords...I love the FULL Buffs, it suits my style more than the typical Master Brawler/Master 2Handed --

-- make sure you do what is fun.

I really think that swordsman isn't complete without master brawler, or any melee class for that matter. Intimidate2 has saved my sorry butt so many times, I can't even count.

sounds good, but there's one thing that pleases me the most.

no mention of jedi.

i'm glad to see people still trying to make the perfect non-fs character. i'm with you all the way. in a year, many people will have unlocked fscs, and then what? who will doc buff? who will rez? who will slice my new hammer?

i'm sticking with swords and glad to see you're focused on making a good character, not grinding to jedi.

Ripsher - I don't group outside of my PA, so that's not really an issue. I'm designing my character more for soloing.

Bomsie - Yeah, I know Master Brawler would be nice. Except I don't know where I'd get the points. I'd lose Power Boost, as well as all my Doctor skills. Well aware that Intimidate2 is godly...but I'll probably not be going that route. That is, unless Sony adds another...oh, 35 skill points

Puusher - Screw FSCS. I'm not gonna spend ungodly numbers of hours camping Rebel Surface Marshals just so I might find a 'cron or two, and be told I have to master some ungodly hateful profession like BH, Pikeman, or Chef. I'll just play, and if the way you become FS changes, I'll reconsider

Well, I've come back to the Swordsman profession. I dabbled in it for awhile, found it very enjoyable, but gave it up in favor of Combat Medic. But I logged in this morning, and seeing my Power Hammer on the wall in my house...well, let's just say I missed the class

So, I'm surrendering my Combat Medic and Marksman skills, to replace them with brawler/swordsman. Here's my basic template, including race, stats, and skills:\

Human (Male, not that it matters )

Skills:
4/0/4/0 Brawler
1/0/0/0 Scout
Master Medic
4/0/0/0 Teras Kasi Artist
0/2/4/0 Doctor (possibly 0/2/3/0)
Master Heavy Swordsman (of course )

Aside from master heavy swordsman, and all the abilities contained therein, I have enough exploration to run decently fast without a mount, enough Doctor to buff myself with Enhance C's (I *think*), and enough Teras Kasi to power boost myself, and meditate wounds away.

Whatcha think?

Sounds pretty solid, maybe think about going high nuff in doc to rez? that always insures you a spot in any group and can be a real group saver. 0/4/0/0 ? only thing i might change.

pretty good, u could internally buff urself with power boost then buff the rest with doctor. it would make up for the potential defense u could get from tka. u still have 3 skill points left, get another box from doctor, or whatever u want.

i used to have a build much like it, ut switched over, since like half of my really good friends are doctors too.

those holo ppl are suckers. grinding 6+hours a day, go get a life. they wont favor grouping, they wont need armor, they make their own weapons, and are basically totally self-sufficient. they are gonna worsen this games economy and general functionality (however little left there is).

He he, I am soon to be a holo hopper, just cause I love to brawl. And who brawls best than a dude with a freaking lightsaber? And great build. The only thing I would say is get rid of that last scout level, and pick up teras kasi precition striking. The defence with that is too nice now, and with a speed slice knuckler you could reliable blind and stun your opponents. But other wise, I wold love to heal and buff like you dude. Good stuff
