Personally I would have used the token to drop pike and get at least TK 0/1/0/0 for improved COB.. +500 defense is really nice.

Yes.

Ruby gives you the ability to stim every 30 seconds when things get sticky.

TK is much better suited for the outdoor life

Doc is good but TKM is "gooder"

No. If you ever plan to pvp and be effective don't drop doc all the way. Healing with just ruby sucks and will get you killed by anyone good.

Here is the template I use and it's highly effective. (I have not lost a fight yet and held my own with two jedi fighting me at the same time)

MSwords 4xx4 Doc x4x4 Fencer x3xx TKA

This gives you full buffs and good heals.

Improved CoB (+500 defense is hard to beat)

A nice snare a really good action regen debuff

With this template use the highest damage ph you can find.

DPS means nothing look for max damage and nothing else with this build. Currently I use a 1319 dmg PH (pupped dmg) unpupped is 1142. With doc buffs you have 150 speed and hit like a truck and tank as good(if not better)as a TKM with your doc skills + buffs.

My currrent template is MSwords/TKM/Doc 4000. I think Doc is invaluable for almost any template. For instance, currently on phase 2 of the FS quests I'm attacking a bunch of sith camps. I'm reading on those boards that people are dying left and right while doing this. I've gone through these camps being aggroed by 4-5 level 76 siths with no problems. The combo of Sword damage, TKM COB and most importantly Doc heals have kept me alive and my health in most cases hasn't dropped below 50%.

Every template is a personal choice and I think just using stim D's will work fine in hunting groups, but if you have to solo anything not having some Doc skills is suicide IMO.

Master Swords

Tka 0/4/4/4

Doc 4/0/0/4

What have I noticed....I can buff myself and heal damn good. With patch 19....people w/o doc are screwed. You can heal for more and cost less at faster speeds. You can heal for over 2500 damage now with doc using ALL medical healing buffs opposed to 1500-1800. Yes, I was including the jam in there. The healing will keep you alive and hopefully also regain any lost action. Hope this helps.

Oh yeah, that speed buffs helps a lot in battle. My timers zoom by with incredible haste.

Keep Doc... after pub 19, Docs/CM will be great additions to a fighting template.

Im Master swords, fencer 0400 and Master Doc now and im gunan keep that.

Does well against all kinds of targets, PVP, PVE etc.

Allthough i miss lunge after the nerf.

doctor is absolutly necesarry, BUT, not master doctor

4000 doctor can heal about 4/5ths of your health (occasionally)

and even with TKM and the +500 defence from improved CoB, though it is very helpful, you are NOT invincible, and doctor 4000 will heal you as much as you need (improved bacta shot - 1/3 - 4/5ths health heal, bacta jab - roughly 1/3 health heal, coming from a 3100 health perspective at level 80 zabrak)

BUT, im just talking if your going solo, if you are a groupie you can have doctors in your groups to heal you, and you can ALSO have level 60 CL requirement 1200 + stim Ds, though you cant frequently use these

yea i respected to mrifle/mdoc....i like the switch and i found that range is fairly enjoyable....but about the improved shot healing for 4/5 of my health (yes i am a cl80 zab so im also useing the 3100 as max health) im lucky to get 500 on my heals....this is kinda disapointing because you ive seen other threads saying i should be healing for 1500 or around that....thats a big diffrence? am i healing wrong or what? In combat i would useing use bacta infusion then alternate jab then shot to get me to full health...this seems to work deacent for me but i find that it takes a long time espically in the heat of battle....i found that my infusion healed for 72 every sec or so (approx in time) and the jab heals for approx 200...these numbers seem low to me? any thoughts on how i can get my healing efficency up to par?

Well if you are a Mdoc your Adv Bacta Shot should be doing around 1500, your Adv Bacta Jab around 700-800, and your infusion around 200+/tick. Something sounds borked about your heals being only 500. Can you post a log?
