Thread: PVP Sword Question

I want to change to master swords/tkm/doctor 4000. However, I want to know what I am getting into 1st. What is the best sword type for pvp? What upgrade material does it require (i.e guns require krayyt tissue)? What is a good dps for a pvp sword? How much is this all going to set me back? Remember I want top of the line.

The stats you're looking for are AROUND (On a good-average Hammer)
Damage: 500-1100
Speed: 3 or lower (Preferabley lower)
Action Cost: 104 (Don't accept higher, this is a must)
Get yourself some Special Action Cost powerups also (Hilt Reinforcement isn't it?)

Im not looking for average though hehe Im looking for top of the line... I am willing to buy uber ackly bones

Power hammer is best for PvP. Acklay bones, or Geo coresto upgrade it. DPS doesn't matter imo.. but look for 1k+ max damage. Price will depend on your server.

Keep an eye on special attack cost. It's easy to get into the 130's for SAC sometimes once you get over 1k max damage on post-CU crafted hammers.

If you plan to be top of the line, pre-cu PVP hammers used to sell for about 20 mil. And that was in the days where any average joe could go solo the acklay.
Elite players become as such by investing heavily into their character.

action pup on a high damage hammer is suicide if your 104 sac cost or lower your ok. If its a pre cu 1100+ one your gonna want to speed pup capped speed is definitely worth it. Speed is a must to cut through that 6 second timer on heals imho. Jedi fall fast to mine
