Master Swordsman/master combat medic and a few more lines in medic or brawler? I'm just curious because I was ranged for too long and got burnt out on the aspect of kiting 24/7 to stay alive.

Dont know really, Combat medic isnt all that beneficial to Swords as say doc, in my opinion of course. But here are some things to get an idea on. Use the basic center of being you get, that will help for tanking, and since you acn heal, that helps a great deal. You should be able really to tank...and solo any of the tough things that are lvl 80-89 with the exception of a few that i can note....namely anything that is going to be hitting you for a ton.

As master swords, master doc, and some tka for the imp center of being, i can solo....

3 lvl 88-89 black sunners(is kinda tough, just need to get in melee range of them, and is still a tough fight, and requires additional buffs from food and such)

probally a similar number of high end NPC's like Night sisters

Can solo the young krayts, but not the canyon krayts

Can solo things like gorax, kimos, etc(low 80's elite big things with 30k health...generally)

Anything that is higher, lvl 109 NPC's and higher(havent seen a single thing between lvl 89 and 109 yet...) will just hit you too hard to solo, and you cant do much about...

Now, as you arent used to swords, and tanking, and healing wise, you cant quite heal as much as doc(but should be relatively close i think) i would be careful on trying some of these, and i do have the improved COB which does help, just keep that in mind...not trying to get you killed...i can only relate from my own experiences

My advice to you (i was MCM before my last respec) is to use Tyrhoid rupture (reduces attack speed by 40) ... use Electrolyte and Paralyse if you're in trouble... I actually found that CM was very efficient with some melee classes, namely pikeman. Tyrhoid rupture + Warcry reduces attack speed and stack... together with intimidate and you're all set!

Hope this helps,

Fesse

MCM?Mswords would be a waste of sp IMO since it takes 15sp for novice marksman

I have the exact same template and I tried to kill the gorax but the darn thing resisted all my attacks. How did you solo it. Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

Heh, well, all i use for attacks are armor break, kd, then IMp crit, Imp head hit. I use action powerups on my power hammer. And i just use blob candy and caf for the extra regens...if i get into trouble, i also will use ruby bliel. Really, its the reduced action cost on my hammer that lets me do it, i can keep hitting the specials a long time before i run out of action.

Same here! And i do agree doc works wonders with swords

I've tried Pikeman/CM and it worked perfectly together though... i could heal well, paralyse, debuff, and hit warcry, intimidate for the win ... have you ever seen what tyrhoid rupture stacked with warcry does? it slows the target so much he'll be attacking 1 every 3 secs. If youre fighting a jedi it will work fabulously well! ... I do love my Swords/MD template though

I honestly think that CM isn't useful in pve at all and only would use it if it was for pvp....mainly the snare that it gets seeings how we get none....

I'm Mswords/Mdoc/TK CoB line i solo layers no problem meaning lvl 81's...bout 5 of them...just me and my PH <sigh> ( no armor aswell muhaha)
