Once I finish off some CH xp converting I'm thinking of dropping CH for M Pike, I already have M sword, figured intimidate, more defense, as well asa few more good specials would be nice, as well as probably going 0040 ( in medic or doc, depending if I decide to drop another skill. Is sword + pike a good combo?

I liked the combo when i had it however... i did not like the fact that i had to buy armor. Reason i like being tkm/swords better is not for the specials but for the no need to have armor...

but if you can afford the armor and make sure that the armor does not fall apart on you and have you not notice it then i think you should try it out...

not the best combo but not bad at all

If you can afford to ADK your armor and have it all health enhanced and the 75% armor break reduction omg!! much better than tka innate armor, I say this becuase I have it set up this way. Just make sure you take 4xxx doctor as you wont have room for x1xx tka and your going to need every ounce of healing. However well played its a good template.

I have MSwords/MPike/MBrawler + TK 0101 and Force Sensitive.

I can deal the best damage but also tank with the best of them. That spin attack is priceless when grinding in large groups.

I have 6000 resist armorto all stats (equal to TKM innate). So I am on par with any TKM but with the better stats of Pike. As for Improved Intimidate and Improved Stun, I don't use those so much.

What ever you do, get 0100 in TK. Improved Center of Being is vital to any melee profession. Then macro it.

For PVE that sounds wonderfull, you should be able to get 6.5k rated armor though. If you rely on stims to heal PVP does not seem like a very viable option, you probably wont last very long with that template.

You wont do best damageI can assure you that, it is totaly and utterly dependant on what weapon you use.

My TKM, MSword, MBrawler, Pikeman 0040, novice medic, kills Jedi masters without much sweat and yesi use Katarn Knucklers.

Pack your self with BE clothes to your teeth and try fighting full template jedi, if you lose, you might want to tweak your template/weaponry.

If you need to use blob candy, caf and others you need to change your template. Just powerboost and breath of heaven or brandy should be enough, then you are true Grandmaster of your profession.
