What was it you got 1k xp on?

I've heard that Dathomir and Lok are still messed up because they haven't been balanced yet. You might try Dantooine or Rebel/Imp missions. I've heard both of them give decent xp.

I miss the days when I could take on 6 racors at a time and get 5k xp for them. That was nice. You could get close to 50k xp for a mish.

Allegedly this is how it works: For each level a mob is lower than you, you get 10% less xp. I.e. taking out a level 75 Nightsister Rancor Tamer yields 50% less assuming you're at level 80. For each level the target is ABOVE you, you get 10% more. So theoretically, a level 90 critter would give you double-xp assuming it didn't kill you in 2 hits.

Unfortunately however this seems completely broken. Nightsister Rangers (level 77, so supposedly only 30% less xp for me) still only yield 1 xp.

I have not yet been able to test using mobs of equal or higher level because, simply put, they're far too strong for me to kill on my own.

I cant give you exact figures, but there are 3 people in my guild in the same template situation as you (TKM, grinding final boxes of Swordie) and they are VERY happy with the xp they are getting IN A GROUP doing grondas and naffs on Corellia ...

In a group doing level 80 missions I'm getting 8k xp per kill.

Yes, this is correct. You have to kill things that are equal level to you to get the best xp........yes its that simple. How do you find creatures that equal same level as you? Missions..... The missions you take should generate creatures that are equal to your level. Also for the fastest and best xp you should group up and take missions because you will be able to take out creatures much faster with other people and unless they changed it already you will get the same xp for just hitting the creature once in a group with other members hitting it as you would if you soloed it.
