Thread: There is no speed cap in CU! Reached 200 polearm and swordsman speed!

Well just to let everyone know I hit 200 polearm and swordsman speed and once I hit 150 it made no difference to my modified speed no matter how much I went up in tapes, and I started off with around 145 swordsman speed and 115 polearm speed.
no more cap is not fun, but i guess we all knew it was coming.
Regarding your post Stilagr I have already tested this scenario as well and its not that I hit faster its just that I know the different timer skills, such as impale and critical both being very high damage SAC using skills on different timers. So they will hit one after the other and then throw in a melee assault from mbrawler which is another high dmg attack on a different timer I can hit 3 times in 3 seconds over 1k if my opponent has armobreak placed on his little toon.

yeah i use the impale //critical hit combo i noticed the timers also,,, but i must say that YOU may not hit faster after 150 but your DPS goes up,,, I have been adding more and more mods im currently at 172 and every time I add my DPS on hammer jumps a bit,,, like +8 speed got me an extra 4 dps,,, kinda lame but its something,,,, also sad about no speed cap but we are all trying to cope,,,, I drain action so fast though lol

I noticied it too. All melee hits will hit for the same. All special hits would hit for the same. Very gay.
what do you mean all hit for the same?
As in they all hit for 568. No deviation ever. When you do special A with Sword B against (lol, i almost put MOB C, silly me for forgetting that they aren't creatures any more, they are numbers) number C, you will always do a fixed amount of damage. Yes, indeed, very gay.
Also, How can you say there is no speed cap? I guess i am just a little slow, but if your DPS is not increasing AT ALL from 150 to 200, doesn't that mean that you are in fact speed capped? If that is true, how very very lame. With action actually mattering now, shouldn't that be the ultimate balance for speed? If you attack too fast, you burn out your action pool.

technically there is no speed cap. But after a certain point the decimal gets so small, you might as well be capped.
