Is it worth getting x3xx for the intermediate spin then the standard x1xx standard spin? Im needing o have spin in my template so that I can take on mobs a little better.

I'm planning to respec in to this tonight, so I'll let you know tomorrow.

I assume that even if I have the advanced, I can choose to use the basic, so I'll see what the damage numbers come up with, because I'm wondering the same think.

Pikeman seems like the utility profession, so I'm picking out spin, sweep, and intim, and trying to figure out what levels of each I'll need.

Annoyingly, I left the hard numbers at home, but it seems I was getting 33-40% more damage from the intermediate spin over the basic attack. Whether 33% increase for 7 sp is worth it is another matter.... As a side note, you also get +20 melee accuracy, and impale, which seemed to do about the same damage as headhit or crit strike for me.
