Thread: Master Swordsman/Fencer/TK has anyone tested that combo?

Has anyone tested the combo of master swordsman/fencer/tka? Just curious how well it would work. Or would master brawler/swordsman/tka work better? Anyone have any thoughts?

i didn't like master swords/tka cuz tka didn't have any skills in it worth having. it is mostly for unarmored combat.
however Master TKA/Fencer/Swords is a nice profession i Here. tons of defences and accuracy. and a blind attack.
But my sugestion if you are planning to go Master TKA/Swords i would def get Master Brawler and just dabble in Pike. The tree that you must get in it is the Intimdation/warcry tree up to 3tier boxand the Pike Speed tree then put the rest in which ever tree you want. i suggest putting it in the finese tree for stun but it is not nessecary it is where ever you decide to put the points.

I think I might try swordsman/fencer/tka and see how well it goes, if not, I'll go with your suggestion with skills in the pikeman prof. Thanks.

melee damage in general is laughable.
the damage that you can do that does decent damage (500-700) costs a ton of action. the ones that dont cost a lot of action dont do more than 150 (in my testing)
There doesnt seem to be any really effective midground.
If you are melee in some way, make sure you that you have some ranged skills, otherwise you will spend your PvP time as a pinball, bounding back and forth between players, desperately trying to do something/anything before they gun you down just as you arrive at their feet.

I played this on test and am building to it on live now. Since I was a Swordsman/Doc with maxed XP before CU, I Respeced to TKM, Master Fencer, Novice Swords, Master Brawler, 0040 Medic. I will train in what I can of Swords using the XP and have to grind the rest of the profession for the 4th time.

Another question, or thought rather. With that combo, should you wear armour? or not cause of the TK innate armour ability?

TK innate armor is good, and if you have TKM you should go for it.... It also lets you use loads of bio clothing, and with the melee / ranged def clothing out there now is worth it....

Master swords/master fencer/tkm has liek 300 melee def and 275 ranged def, you'd be really good with the exception of area attacks, whihc area attack 3 once dominated, but...yeah well.

Well I am currently MSwords/MFencer and TK 0444, before the CU I walked all over the FS melee accuracy quest and felt like a god while doing it. I have yet to try it in the CU as I have dial up and am still downloading it. lmao

What is the innate armor, how do you use it ?
Get TKM and just not equip armor = you get TK armor

Im Master Swords and TKM now if i respec can I pick up Master Fencer and 0040 med while keeping Both other masters??
