Just logged in yesterday since the CU... confused as heck.
Master SWORDS/TKA...
Is my regular armor still good? do i need to do something to it?
Are my weps still good?
What is the story with buffs now?

-Probably need to either convert your armor or buy new. We can wear battle armor and assuming you had composite which is assualt now.

-Maybe, id need mroe info. It is possible to craft some good ones now, so id check around.
What is the story with buffs now?
-Buffs are much less important. With master swords/TKM you should be at level 80, that gives you 3000 health. You can get minor buffs, the action one is pretty useful. But you can hunt with no buffs now and be effective.

If you have TKM take off your armor. The natural armor a TKM gets is better, but you only get the bonus if you don't have any other armor on.

I definately agree with removing the armor, unless you've got some uber-tapes in there. TKM gives you more than enough. Don't forget to keep Improved CoB running at all times - it's even more useful now. If you want to wear the armor, just go in the radial menu, and choose "Convert"
I've found that the +60 innate TKM armor (Which I've read translates to 10000 in all armor values), combined with a CoB macro, and the parry stance or sword flurry from time to time means that I can hang with most anything I face.
For buffs, I'd recommend the action bar regen buff, yeah. All the rest are okay, but not worth waiting for unless you've got a doc.
Check out the new foods - a lot of them have changed, and some are much more useful. Synthsteak is now a huge bonus to armor for a short time, for instance. Pixie is again your best friend, too. 
If you were MSwords, I'd recommend looking in the Pikeman tree as well - you lost your spin attack, and your intimidate. TKM has a spin, but Pikemen are the only ones with warcry and intimidate now. Since it seems like MBrawler is avery nice thing, pickingup at least normal intim from pikeman won't cost much.
Get acharbuilder, for sure, and play around.
