Hello, all. I made it to Novice Swordsman a few days ago and I have a few questions about the profession:

1) Where/from whom do you buy your weapons? I don't personally know any weaponsmiths, so I'm left with shopping at stores I stumble upon while out hunting. I've found that very few weaponsmiths stock melee weapons.

2) Just how useful are Warcry and Intimidate? Is there a consensus on the the best time to use them? Do you begin a battle with one or both of them, or use them in the middle of a battle? I've tried them both and haven't noticed a major effect on my opponents (pve).

3) Someone mentioned in the thread about Center of Being that using a special move eliminates your COB. Is that true?

4) I've noticed that some people recommend getting Master Brawler to help with Swordsman skills. Would I be better served trying to advance further up the swordsman ladder as quickly as possible, or should I take time to get Master Brawler first?

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

1: There are 10 over servers, which server are you from? Normally uber melee weapons are not expensive.

2: warcry will stopyour opponentfor a certain period of time, 10 secs for warcry 1 and 20 secs for warcry 2.

3: no comments :-(

4: with master brawler, you will learn the following "

a: lunge 2 - a move which can knockdown your opponent, worked on big big beast and human.

b: warcry 2 - stop an opponent for 20 sec.

c: intimidate 2 - decrease the hit dmg of an opponent

d: beserk 2

Thanks for the advice. By the way, I'm on Kettemoor. That is in my sig, but I should have mentioned it in the question.

I notice you're on Kettemoor. The best melee weaponsmith i know is Andover, he only does melee weapons and he uses great components in them, even my slicer friend loves is weapons because he gets his best slice percentages from Andy's weapons.

- I support the proper use of common sense when it comes to re-developing games which are nearly two years into their tenure...evidently this sentiment is not shared by those that finance this game.

Great! Thanks. Does Andover have a vendor somewhere?
