When level swordsman, what skills should i choose first? so i can level up faster

Id suggest Techniques.

Techniques, Defense, Offense. Finesse as able. Unless you level on something that helps its brethern, then probably Offense before Defense.

Get techniques first, no matter what. After that, it's basically up to you. I wasn't taking on multiple targets at once, but I still went up the offense tree first (Spin2 is a superior area attack in my opinion). It worked pretty well for m.

Im going offense first because I do missions on Dant and the area attack with my 63-251 1.7 spd Curved sword slices thru mobs like hot butta

Yes the weapons can be sliced but speed mods in the end wil be better, speciall when I am only 0101 and I am already hitting for over 4k... powerhammer, sliced 31% damage....but what if I was able to attack twice with a cleaver for 2k.... its all how u want to work the #'s.. as I figure more damage... and do it as fast as possible. caues you won't be as effective at killing atst's unless u get that 2handhit3... lol /drool, I can't wait

But I have intentions of being a battlemaster first then offense then defense and finesse (if there is such a thing when swinging such a powerful tool around) as I can. Cause I am already master ch, thats my defense right there.. I am there to put my hits in, take my xp and move on.. more hits, more damage = more xp
