Im a novice swordsman/novice rifleman and was wondering if there was anywhere to solo to start going up these skill trees?

well i started on talus soloing tortors and bull tortors, had no real prob. got 125k 2 handed xp in an hour and a half. that was with 3 boxes in 2 handed from the brawler prof. i am a novice doctor though so i can heal. with 80% comp armor i didnt ned to heal to much though. just remeber moun gold is your best friend.

I stayed on a starter planet (correllia) untill I got tech 4... then moved to datooine, it was a little tough at first.. but i have doctor and use buffs and muon gold which makes me unstoppable for 10 minutes (easy to do 2 missions in 10 minutes) now im 4-4-2-3 in swordsman and im getting 5k xp a kill with a certain type of those lizards. so im gona stick with that till master.. I might also start doing the bol mission for 8k.

I solo Huurtons on Dantooine for about 2.5k exp per kill, I dont use buffs, I am not a doctor, nor do I use spices. Just need some good Ubese Kinetic armor. Do not use composite unless you have drugs and buffs.

I always solo Mawgax on Yavin. They give 1200-3800 exp per kill depending on size. + another 5000 exp for the lair.I like Yavin because it is not as crowded as dathomir. A good armor and buffs help alot though.

And even if you have no ch skills - don't forget to group with your pet for the extra 30% exp boost.

You guys that hunt huurtons and on Yavin, do you use pets and what skill level are you?

If you have a pet like a graul mauler then you can solo anything on Dantooine fairly quickly. Packs of Hurton stalkers are the best. 3 rounds of say 5 of em = 75,000xp in about 15-20mins. With a pet you just go around chain killing everything. Also take some decent kinetic armour on a macro just in case you get overwhelmed you can stick it on quick and soften the blows.

I solo the Nightsister cave and sometimes the Kunga's when I feel for a change. I get 3,5K - 4K xp a pop.

However, I'm using

• A 80% kinetic - 73% base resist composite armor


• Buffs on all my stats


• Muon Gold whenever I fear for my life

Can't wait to go up in the profession tree so I can start soloing the real stuff

man thats crappy xp for a nightsister, but huurton howlers and stalkers can give over 4k easily and takes about 2min to kill one.

i kill snorbals on lok for 1400 for a calf, 4000 for a mature, and 4000+ for an elder. They dont hit very hard, im a wookiee so i cant use armor, and without buffs of spices i can get through some kills without healing (i use a non CH pet though)

snorbals are fairly common and one lair puts out allot of snorbals.

i have techniques 3 and finnesse one only in swordsman tree.

SOme of you guys are a little misleading. You say you solo these things yet some of you have pets. As far as I'm concerned, thats not soloing. This isn't a negative comment on using pets. Its just that, as a solo player looking for soloing tips, tips are useless if they require me to use pets.
