i'd rather be good at PVE - you know where you can actually get stuff.

duelling seems to just be a big macho wank fest half the time

people making up rules that allow them to win all the time, and if somebody changes their rules they cry like babies.

it just isn't worth it.

maybe if you got xp for it.

Duels with rules - hey that ryhmes - isn't a real fight. It's like saying no eye gouging but in a real fight, there are no rules. True PvP is actual combat. What duels can do is help you train for real combat.

PvP is a huge part of the end-game for many poeple.

Killing NPC's and creatures can only be fun for so long.

Whats the use of "getting stuff" if the only use it has is enabling you to go and "get more stuff"? That whole cycle is pointless unless you use the "stuff" for something fun, like PvP.

People get kicks and feel good with duels, but in the end, how good team player you are in "mass" pvp and taking on hard mobs with others is what counts.

ppl who make rules in duels are extremely retarded. they well suck so bad in pvp theyd probably just quit the game in frustration. that commando lit me on fire!! not fair!!
lol. duels, without rules, are pretty fun and serve as training for open pvp combat. how good u are in pvp relies on how you fair when raiding, defending with your group, or how you fair solo one on one.

well if you think having braggind matches over who can pull off warcry 2 the fastest whilst wearing away your armor and weapons (and possible item decay with DB) be my guess.

i would rather spend this time getting things to make my player better, help my friends, - you know actually get something for the time im wasting.

duels can be fun but i dont see the point in wasting valuable skill points to be the uber l33t dueler dood when it gives you nothing at all. hahah.

the only rules i ever have in pvp is NO DB's cuz really i do not want item decay and i don't believe he would ether.

Oh yeah and not flame bleeds for now just because they still incap but they also keep going now right when you stand up. so flame=death. that are all muy rules.

but i don't pvp any morecuz everytime i pull out a pet they are like NOPE NOPE NO PETS ALOWED. and i'm llike wells thats a waste. how am i going to compansait for you being buffed and i'm not well a pet of course yet i'm always shut down. then they make oit so we have to stand 55 meters away and i'm like okay **edit** what's the point of dueling then. so i just stoped dueling. no reason to with being a swordman and no randged from that distance and i can't use a creature.

No DB is basically the only rule I ever go by. No KD is just stupid. If you have the skills, why not use them?

Do explain how bringing out a pet and siking it on someone is a DUEL. I think rules are nessisary. Buffing and healing is somewhat cheap in a duel as not everyone can do it. I think you should only use your combat skills. BTW CH IS NOT A COMBAT SKILL. (atleast according to the devs) I can heal and i can power boost because i am tka aswell. I dont however use my stims in aduel. and i dontuse powerboost unless im fighting another tka. Because they tend to pb all the time and think its fair. Now if you were right then it would be cool for me to bust out 3 grand wrix and sik them all on a pure fencer as i buff and heal myself whilst kding and bleeding him and healing my pets if he managed to hurt one of them. In your book that would be fair. Maybe im missing something.
