Thread: should I go HS?
Because one of the most statisfying nights I have ever had playing this, or any game, happened one night while I was wandering around Fort Tusken using only Master Swordsman/Master Bralwer skills (It would not have been any different without the Master Brawler part, just marginally harder.) I was buffed and armored and wandering around at my leisure killing stuff right and left, and I had a group of 3 (maybe 4) people ask me if they could follow me around. They did not even ask me to join their group, but I was still getting most of the loots, and I told them it was fine with me. They were still leveling, so they just wanted to be able to safelyget some XPs off of stuff that focused on me when I was attacking.
That was satisfying as it was, but at some point during the process, one of them mentioned how easily I was wading through stuff there, and I shrugged it off telling him, "Well, it is mainly because I am buffed." And he said, "Buffed or not, you are kicking Tusken @##!" I still smile every time I think about it.
Especially in PvE, we are massive damage dealers. We do not have the defenses of other classes, but buffed, armored, and running CenterOfBeing, I have been surrounded by as many as 7 enraged rancors, and killed them all. We are killing machines in PvE. We have AP2 (medium armor piercing) weapons, and we have blast damage with the Powerhammer. We also can also focus that damage on the mind pool, making us particularly dangerous.
Our lack of state changes and low defenses to them means that we are oriented to offense (same issues as a rifleman has), but the ability to attack mind makes us dangerous in PvP if we play smart.
I am a Master Rifleman/Master Swordsman/Master Brawler, and I love the combo.
