Thread: just solo'd/tanked my first Giant Canyon Krayt! what a blast!

I've been a wookiee since sept - so the whole tankinguberhighendmobs thing didn't work for me.
Irerolled my alt and made a human about a week and half ago and made him a master heavy swordsman.
So yah - found a giant in the yard and went to work.
i didn't exactly solo it - i had a doctor friend there removing dizzy from me because i don't have quite the build i want yet, he was there the first 50k or so..... he didn't heal my health much at all or not that i could tell.
then he got incapped and ran out of dizzy packs!!!
i delayed the beast and told him to run and make more packs.
i went on to do another 40k of dmg i'd say when my doc friend came back.
he was there for maybe a minute before he died (he is a trandoshan so a few hits to the feet/hands would kill him)
so i was left on my own - and spent quite a bit of time on my back due to dizzy/kd, but i kept focused, kept the intimidates going in and standing up when i could.
my doc friend came back roughly for the last 3 or 4 minutes of the battle.
i used all mind attacks, intimidate 2, - didn't use warcry2 that much really, i would use it after a long kd to make sure my health was ok. - i also used bleeds :d even though they suck. every bit helps.
had 80 comp armor with some ubese mixed in and pretty good buffs - mainly a good con/health buff.
also use taunt a few times to make sure he didn't go for my friend when he was incapped
of course i used bandy, canape and proud to say i didn't have to resort to muon.
i also didn't get to powerboost because it aggroed me before i saw it.
and of course there was nothing on it 
haha.

(i'd also like to comment that i have 101 spd and 158 accuracy and a sweet acklay hammer.)
well this could be old news to you guys but i was proud, i had taken on regular canyon but never a giant.
only been taking on krayts in the last few days since i got my human up to speed.
no tricks, no dots - just a straight up master warrior taking on a dragon with over 450k ham!
off wit his ead!

congrats, I soloed a giant dune kimo today, but I want to get more speed seas before i go for the dragons

the dune kimo scales haven't been wanting to drop that much as of late. :/

Nice job Haun, I'm hoping that I can soon solo some of these big mobs, I'm advancing more in Swordsman everyday and really enjoying it.
P.S. I'll miss seeing your Wookie around on Flurry

unfortunantly the good times will be over on tuesday once the warcry changes get bumped through

nice all you needed are the speed tapes and plates with those a swordsman is uberlicious

i really don't agree.......i used warcry........but it wasn't something i needed.
it certainly didn't make or break the fight for me.
i actually used it as little as possible to see how well i could do without it.

Wow, I've never noticed taunt to do anything when I've used it. Will it make enemies not run from you?

taunt just makes an enemy aggro you.
so if a krayt is running for somebody and you succesfully taunt he goes for you instead of the other weaker target
