Thread: need input on my template..

Ok heres what i have been using Master TK / Master Swords / Master Brawler / 4340 Pikemanwith this hammer
485-1001 damage (291.39 DPS)
while holding the hammer my defence is
270 melee
210 ranged
and was thinking about switching the pikeman to fencer and being 4340 fencer.. mainly due to there sick looking new sword =)
the Blade of Nyenthi'oris
520-1040 damage (312 DPS)
i know i would lose my area attacks. but i rarly use them anyways.. only time i use them is if i'm annoyed with killing 5-10 lvl 32's 1 by 1 lol
(btw both weapons are UNsliced)
any thought are welcome =)

How did you get Master TKA, Master Swordsman AND Master Brawler? After I've respecced to Master Swords and Master Brawler I don't have enough elite points to Master TKA. I presumed this was by design but I've seen quite a few people saying they have a template similar to yours. Puzzling.

well before the respec i was a triple master so i had TONS of elite points to spend.. (btw Master brawler/M.Sword/MTK only uses 203 skill points

Ah right. I don't know if the respec system is fooked or whether it is working right (presume it is working properly). I'm presently Master Swords/Master Brawler with a tiny bit of TKA, 0002 in Medic and a a bit of the dance branch of Entertainer. I guess if I want innate armour then I'd have to drop Swords to master TKA, which I don't think I will do. Ah, so many permutations, such little time! Cheers!

The melee def looks right but I'm not sure where you're getting that ranged def number. Based on the results I get from this application (http://www.bloodfin.org/modules/mydownloads/) your ranged def is no better than 190 and as as low as 160 depending on your species. Of course BE clothing and tapes can change that. My melee def holding my hammer is like 315 and my ranged def is 190 (I'm a human with FS CPxx3x & ER x3xx). If you add my BE clothing those numbers jump to 325 melee and 225 ranged def. And I agree area attacks are pretty much worthless.
