I am currently a master swordsman/master pikeman/scout/medic i have done much testing of each classes abilities and have to say i dissapointed in the swordsman tree after extensive testing using equal base dps weapons the pikeman does higher consistant damage than the swordsman.

There attacks seem lacking very much in speed which lowers overall dps and even the specials seem lacking in power vs pikeman specials.

After this testing the CU respec really needs to be looked at the classes are NOT finnished something is wrong with swordsman tree they need to redo it if we are to be THE DPS class.

Each class needs to be looked at and fixed then respec atm if they change swordsman later after i repec and i drop it for TKM and they lower pikeman damage and increase there tanking ability then this repec is all for naught.

Also where is the tanking in pikeman its just not there against multiple mobs we fall just as fast as a pure range class.

In concerns to Pikeman tanking, it comes from debuffing.

Intimidate, KD, and Stun

Pikeman's Improved Impale ability is the same damage multiplier as Critical Strike, assuming there is not Critical hit. If you do get a Critical Hit, it will do much more damage I think. Pikemen seem faster and more damaging due to the fact that Pikes are faster than Hammers and have lower special attack costs... plus Power Hit and Critical Strike are massive action drains.
