Thread: Few questions from an old swordsman

Hey all,
It's been a few months since i've played SWG. And when I left, I was in God mode, now i'm back and it say's i'm lvl 62. I see that many nowaday's are lvl 80. So my question is, how do I get to lvl 80.
Here is my template for those that are wondering
Master Swordsman
Master Brawler
TK 4/0/0/0
Medic 4/4/0/0
Scout 4/0/0/0
FS speed tree
FS accuracty tree
and 10 points left over.
I only want to PVE never been interested by getting owned by a 10 year old, and having to hear about it for a month. So all input would be helpful. Thanks all.

you need to master a second profession. this will put you at the all important level 80. also it will max out your HAM bar.
you should have /respec for a while, you can use it every 12 hours for a few weeks after you log in. so you can mess around with things.
I would master pikeman or fencer and see how you like that in combination with swordsman. you can use all the specials with swords now, and youll probably use a hammer.

I recommend Master Pikeman/Master Swordsman. Intimidate and Warcry are now Pikeman abilities, not Brawler abilities, so that's a consideration you might want to make. Plus Pikeman has more defense that Fencer does not... and a lot of offensive power and AoEs that TKM does not.
And as Krey said, you can use any melee special attack with any melee weapon. I.e. you can pick up a Vibrolance and use Critical Strike from Swordsman, or use Impale from Pikeman with a Scythe.

THanks, that helped out alot. I'm gonna toy around with /respec. I'll try your guy's combo's out. See if protectors/elders can still be solo'd.
