hi

COB increases our defense very well, flurry just increases it for 8 seconds and damage is lower than brawlers melee HIT .

so is it really worth using? in 8 seconds enemy maybe can do 1 attack or hardly 2, at the end it just drains action, action taht would be better used with a big headhit or critstrike, right?

its our master attack so it should do something awesome?

in duels i need big damage strikes , hm not sure if its wise to spend actionpoints and time in duels for this attack.

it could be very good, but one problem is that it doesn't appear to be stacking with CoB.. ietanking a mob and i have CoB running, i throw in Flurry for a bit more defense, buti'm not getting hit for any less damage than before

in a combat systemwhere stackingis the rule, not the exception, this hasto be a bug

i used to use sword flurry as an attack until i realized that head hit and critical hit hammered the amt. of dmg this one does....i realized that the def. bonuses from it are not really enough to matter anyways, but it could be an awesome move if they update it any in the near future...

Hey ehm i noticed with cob running and enableing advanced flurry the enemy do more misses

Melee/ranged defense are now damage mitigation and "dodge/block/counterattack.."

Alright, here are the numbers I got from testing

a level 82 baz nitch hits me for 198 damage

...use Flurry, and it hits for 151

...let that run out, turn on COB, and it hits for 68

...use Flurry + COB at the same time, and it hits for 68 still

COB's description is 'Modify defense by 500 points' .. Flurry's description is 'Modify defense by 120 points'

I want 500+120 to give 620 more defense, not 500. How about you?

so if it's capped at 500 whats the point of ISF being the Master Special

when would it ever be used ?

and does that also mean BE clothing def mods no longer work with CoB

Were you using normal CoB, or improved CoB from TKM?

It might be that, if you have TMK's CoB, sword flurry is useless, but if you just have normal, it helps?

No clue, really, just thinking on electrons...

Level 81 Piket Longhord:

Base damage: 155 after armor
Basic COB: 64 after armor
Basic COB + SF: 61 after armor

VERY minimal difference, and Improved COB from TKA probably neglects SF.
