Thread: What line should I go up next?

I personally went up offense next for the area attacks. Lots of people go defense for mitigation though.

Go offense, with these AE attacks, your xp will fly, and you can go up the defence line. I personally think our defence line is BS, I dont even really notice a difference with it.

Hello all:
Currently my one toon is 0/4/0/2 in Swordsman...and I was wondering what the next line I should go up was?
I was thinking the Defense line for the CounterAttack mod, but I am not sure how good the Offense AoE attacks are.
Any help is appreciated.

i disagree offense is nice but defense is better if you want to grind safely. the counterattack and damage mitigation helps a lot more and you'll only see results from the offense tree when you get areaattack3.

who cares about defense if you have good armor. goto Dath and kill some rancors after you get AOE3,you'll be very happy.
i remeber a day wheni killed about 40 rancors in less then 10 minutes, granted there were 3 spawns right next to each other so they all just came after me but i got a lot of bile and armor segments not a single rancor tooth though.

Defense because it has some nice bionuses and plus wouldnt you like an extra +15 KD defense?
