Thread: To kd as swordsman....
It does all 3--probably one of the best melee area attacks in the game.
if you manage to land that lunge, just run up and hit with a few 2handhit3's. Those have a nice chance to dizzy. I actually prefer this over using 2handarea3.
Just a thought. I know you were talking about landing kd/dizzy before master, but once you do this method also works. And for those of you who won't go master brawler, try 2handarea3, followed by some 2handhit3's. Of course, this doesn't have the advantage of being an area kd/dizzy like spamming 2handarea3 but is quite helpful when fighting single targets.

The problem I have with using that fora KD is that they get there posture lowered before the dizzy hits, then once they are dizzied, I have to wait on a timer before then can have there posture changed again. At that point the dizzy has worn off.
Agreed. Get the dizzy to stick then try to force a posture change. Also, try to get a Warcry and Intimidate in beforehand. This will make it easier to both hit with the dizzy and change their posture. But the dizzy will only knock them down if they change posture on their own, so do not waste a lot of HAM trying to get this to work. Give it a shot, if it works, great. If not, move on to just trying to kill them. So COB, Warcry, Intimidate, Hit3 until they are dizzy, then AreaAttack3 or some other posture down move.
Of course, this is if you are attacking a single target. If you are being attacked by multiple targets, AreaAttack3 is the better choice, but you may get a posture down and no dizzy. So it is a trade off.
If you have Rifleman, you can also lead off with Flurryshot1 (single) or Flurryshot2 (area) which can dizzy them as well. Then move in and change their posture.
