Thread: why wookie can tank better than human?

wat special stat or skilldowookie have ? any tips ? i fought one today, his resist is very good, his name is Blink.

um humans have better stats than wookiees and can wear armor--wookiees also have no special resists--was he buffed maybe?

He may be a defense stacker. At one point My Wook had 156 melee defense and 134 ranged defense, usualy only another master could hit him with any consistency. The combat revamp is going to address this kind of template though and make itwhere the defenses from different profs don't stack.

I have delayed him for 20 secs(warcry). so i spam mind hit 3, his mind only drop a bit. When the warcry was over, I was owned.


He told me wookie got better stat, he making full usage of it.


His COB was on btw.


Perhaps will try out again later.

Trust me, wookiee's are by far the weakest profession from a "tanking capability" point of view. We get a few more points to distribute, but that doesn't make up for the lack of armor by far. He could have been using a shield generator but they really don't do much good against a AP1 or higher weapon. My guess is you barely hit him (defense stacking as mentioned + center of being + counter attack), and that he was buffed more than you (you fail to point out the HAM you and he had).

Let me put it this way, I can get my mind up to 2.5-3k WITHOUT using dancer buffs. Add dancer and I can get up over 4k (muon, fishak, two glucose plus 1100 from the mind buff).

I assume you did check to see what his HAM bars were right? And you were (also?) buffed correct?

Wookies die so fast thanks to no armor, best headhit I ever did with a powerhammer was on a Wookie pistoleer with 1200 mind pool - one hit.

Wow. Easy. It's called Intimidate2. Lowers defenses drastically, COB or not.
