I'm really dissapointed with my current templet master pistoleer/expert bh, as it has gotten me massacred by pretty much everyone

anyways i was considering of trying something drasticly different and new, and since i'll be gettin my ris armor pretty soon i'd figure i'd go swordsmand to uh, kinda be like a sumurie i guess

.

but anway i was hopin of someone could tell me the streghns and weakness of this proffesion, and if thier are any bugs or broken proffesions. Pistoleer is loaded with bugs right now and its just a waste of time, especially since it has the lowest dps in the game.

any help would be appreciated

Funny you ask, I used to be a Master pistoleer, expert BH and then switched to Master pistoleer with the dirty fighting tree with Master Teras Kasi. Let me tell you man, you will go from getting killed by everyone to killing everyone yourself. Nothing can compare to having a master melee proffesion with a ranged too. Bounty HUnter has no defences , i know considering i was at one point a 3-4-4-4 . I got fed up wth the broken investigation missions and the lack of defence. Anyway, in my opinion Teras Kasi, fencer and Swordsman are awesome compared to Bounty HUnter. So defintely go for a melee profession, u wont regret it.

but will it still be as effective with the defense stacking removal?

um ,defense stacking is being evaluated, but if it does get nerfed, it won't be till the combat revamp. so you still have 2 or so months.

Alright Kil...Im a Master Heavy Swordsman and I love it. I used to be a TKM and Master Fencer...after awhile I lost interest in those professions, althought they were useful in some areas. I picked up swordsman because they affect the mind pool which usually cannot be healed unless a friendly combat medic is in the area but not usually around. Bugs related to swordsman...not much to say. The only thing that is a bother is too much area attacks...not alot of abilities to KD, Dizzy, or whatever a TKA can do. Just alot of area attacks, spin attacks. bleh. With that in mind, i would say to pick up master brawler so you can KD by use of lungehit2 and use warcry2 to keep them offenseless for 20 seconds. I would be lost without master brawler. Oh and if you use head hit 3 on a creature that is knocked down...you can do damages as high as 8000 or more...that has to be something to drool about. Mind bleeds 1 and 2 stacking is very helpful if fighting against a big creature like a kimogila. Powerhammer is hot...very hot...
