Thread: Swords can Solo anything in Geo Cave.

Hey guys, for those of you who have not reached master yet, keep going. Swordsman is awesome. (Some proffs are better at PvP, but nothing beats us in PVE).


I went to the Geo caves yesterday, first time there as master (2nd time ever) And man, what can I say, I was even amazed myself. Can solo anything in the cave, as long as it's 1 on 1. 1 on 2+ gets a lil harder.


The best part was when me (master sword), a master carb, and a novice pistol, out damaged a group of 12-14 people on every aggro. hahah. Commandoes and TKA were plentiful in the other group, it was great.


Sword ROCKS.

I agree it is great...LOL Im trying to get Master..im 4/4/4/4 but, need 200 more AP

you said commandos and TKAs were in the otehr group.


have you ever been to the cavs as a commando?


everything there has like 95% heat resist, so a commando is screwed.


but now that I'm a riflewoman with a DXR-6b I could hurt everything in there.

Commando's can do blast damage with the laucher pistol just like swordsman's power hammer.....so they are not totally out of the loop in the geo cave.


the thing is that theproblem with most commando's is all of them rely on their flame throwers....when commando's have acid attacks and a pistol that does blast damage.......and most of the time the commando's I see are not masters...so I guess that's why they don't use thier other weapons.....yes they are slow...but everything has a use in this game....when you rely on one or 2 weapons or 1 or 2 specials, you are not truely playing your profession to it's full potential......since most commando's aren't really commandos but another profession dabbling into the flamer line of commando.....they become useless in a lot of occassions.....get that heavy particle beam cannon out or the launcher pistol or the acid stream launcher out if your a commando, how about those imperial detonators and all kinds of grenade types......basically a commando can be very versatile......just remember, they are a support profession.....their main role is pure damage......just like a swordsmans role is pure damage of all the melee professions.

Acid rifle is crap....Don't even mention it......LAST resort weapon.....But i do agree that they have the launcher pistol....OCS2 puts out "Decent" damage with it even if you don't go pistoleer or smuggler....Still much better then the Flamer shooting threw 95% resistances.....Acid rifle and Disposables are crap tho

An AP none gun with bodyshot2 as best attack isn't really helpfull there. PH is AP medium so we can deal fairly well with low blast resists , commandos can't.
Crazed geonosian are acid vunerable...same as the flamethrower but without the DOT, I guess they can do something good against them if they're not just dabblers.

the reason most commandos dont use their LPs is because unless they have dabbled in Pistoleer, you really cant hit squat with it.

umm the crazed geonos are blast AND acid vuln thats why swords pwn them so easly but yathat cave is nice to solo
