I have only ever been a BH.

I am moving over to M Carbineer/ M Swordsman.

The maximum melee defense I have ever had in this game is +15 (thats total)

I have been reading how great Swordsman are at tanking mobs, and am excited.

I had only intended to go up the two handed line in brawler and then to M Swordsman.

Will this coupled with the Carbineer defenses give me some good tanking abilities?

If not, what do you suggest. Should I master brawler? or pick up the defensive lines from TKA or fencer.

With the 66 points left over after the 2 masteries I was hoping to get some med skills maybe get the meditiatio line in tka and try a little artisan. I would rather not master brawler unless the consenses is that it is really needed.

Any and all comments are appreciated.

I was also a MBH and only a MBH. I turned to the sword and I was shocked. If you're used to being a MBH, you will be amazed by the defense. I can solo almost anything know and walk away with maybe a scratch. That's with nice armor of coarse. You can beat the **edit** out of mobs of nightsisters and live to tell about it. It is great. I'm going sharpshooter too.

ok im not to sure about carbiner defences but master brawler does hely and lunge 2 rocks as it kd , im all melee im Mbralwer , Mfencer , MHS, and tka 4304 was tkm , now i dont have any medic , so master swordman is very good for tanking on its own add to it the defence of fencer and you are very solid tka line medatate is the best and there defence is great to ,

so id stay with Mcarbinerr and MHS it you got more points use then in master brawler are tka line are even medic

I recenlty left MBH for MHS and Master Carb. I'm also picking up novice medic and TKA 4/4/0/0 for Meditation and defense.

Thats a thought, i was thinking tkm for meditiation, but who's defenses are better, fncer or tkm's.

I think Fencers get better defense, butI think for me, Meditation, plus Powerboost, plus FoW, will outwaya couple tree's in Fencer. I could be worng though, I'll have to wait and see. Maybe fencer would be better if your really into PvP.

For PvE PB/FoW/medit is a GODSEND. Still working on Fencer for the defenses for a PvP-standpoint…but just as MHS/TKM I can honestly say I don't know how I lived without PB/FoW for as long as I have.
