As a newly joined swordsman/tka master I was wondering about pvp

What I was wondering specifically is well does it work with this template, there is the comp; kinetic problem; the

hammer accuracy problem so can we pvp with swordsman/tka against fencers and rifleman and if so how is this

accomplished.

Can I say that I do not pvp much in fact I think I have done it 3 times in total but I am very curious.

Love swordsman to bit its ten times more fun than rifleman so any advice one stragegies and chef’s food to take when

pvp’ing would be great.

Please tell me my assessment of swordsman tka pvp against rifleman pistoleers is incorrect, we just cant compete?

pvping with swordsman is alot of fun, only times i've been DB'd bya rifleman is when there are 5 of them and 2 of them are CMs. you're right about the dmg type problem...TKM/sword you only get kinetic and blast...i only kept the defensive boxes of TK and picked up some fencer so i can use a stun bat when i think stun might work better.

my alt is a Master Brawler TKA and Swordsman and some Fencer for def mods. Ive got three different knockdowns (two of which have a 20m range) all on seperate timers, couple that with dizzy and then just pound the opponent with head hit 3 with my powerhammer and its lightsout. If for some reason im unable to knock them down, I intimidate2 them, stun, dizzy, blind them and go at them with two handed hit3. after they heal themselves for the third time i switch to head hit3 and its not long before theyre running to beat hell trying to get out of Dodge.if istart to take a beating (rarely happens) i switch to my vks and do theauto attack while i heal up with stim b's.when i pvpi wear effect sliced 80% kin/34%stun comp armor with the rest of the stats sitting pretty in the 70ish % range. doc buffs, mind buffs, brandy and some maun hotkeyed for emergencies. rifleman can be hard as hell, however if your prepared, and know how to fully utilize your templates abilities then it just boils down to skill. if the rifleman knows how to pvp, your probably toast. i dont even try combat medics, too much of a pain in the a$$.

so if i get this right then its probably easier to win with say rifleman but with tka and swordsman and master brawler which ill make tomorrow ha with my master swordsman and tka can sloe win by employing your strategy

sir you have just made my day i do not pvp much but when i get iritated i will and i do not want to give up this combo as its, well you know dont you might keep it for every is what im thinking.

hmm is rifleman so uber because of the rifleman skills or his gun, lets face it hs3 and that is it with a jawa or dxr-6b

but melee for pve is so much fun, more so than rifleman ever was, i shall read over you post again and again till i can absorb it and then i shall try it please feel free to post more if you think of more i dont want you to fight my batles for me in loosing we win if we learn but advice never ever hurts

also i find it refresing that im getting such feedback that is not negative hmm so is swordsman the thinking person fighting style again /bow sensei

Its also an unbelievable combo for pve. swordsmans area attacks are absolutely sick. with this combo i take out level 99 mokk missions on dantooine (30k credits a pop!) in under a minute. its a great way to make credits fast. get into a large group at the Mining Outpost, and just pound out missions all day. i do that about once every two weeks and it keeps me in credits.

sorry my reply was confusing...i didnt mean that it takes 5 rifleman to kill me hehe...just saying thats the kind of group i run into alot. (everyone is a rifleman/CM nowadays).

my template is very good against rifleman(capped ranged defense + 110 counterattack + center of being = lots of missing)...every time i've fought an overtrifleman one on one i've won by a wide margin.

i use aspeed sliced hammer that has -6 range mods, and a damage sliced 2hand curved sword (i've yet to get my hands on a scythe). sometimes it takes a while to chew thru the high resist composite.

my advice is to group with a doc, and intimidate every enemy you see. TK has a good KD/dizzy...after you land it switch to a sword and head hit

hmm so you are saying if it was you and a rifleman it takes 5 of them to beat you

it would not take 5 of them mate hmm unless you must be using a jedi mind trick on them

but i realy would like to see these profession in pvp god its crazy this game i so f...ed up

tka and two hand do not pvp well against comp armor hmmm im not crying about nerf this nerf that dont even know hat nerf mean bloody stupid american saying why do they always shorten things down hmm

we wold be better of throwing the swords and vk at them so we need another weapons dam type for sure hell they where going to give rifleman blast dam with the new corvet launch

ive descoverded that swordsman and tka with master brawler is awsome pve but pvp

a rifleman buffed with a jawa could be me easy and you, and you and him

sounds advice i like the idea after you dizzy then of hittin them on the head with the hammer brings a smile to my face every time can every tka swordsman brawler type please post suggestion and tips here for pvp

if there is a thread like that else where point me in that direction but with all the publish changes, new tips and advice would be great against specific profession
